All seven of Colorado’s U.S. House seats are up for election in November.
One of the House races, that for the 3rd District, which covers the western third of the state and includes a thumb into Pueblo, has received national attention. The Republican in the race, Lauren Boebert, pulled off an upset win in the June primary over longtime incumbent Rep. Scott Tipton, and she has stood out for her outspoken support for the Second Amendment and the agenda of President Trump.
Boebert is vying for the seat against Democrat Diane Mitsch Bush, who has served as a Routt County commissioner and in the Colorado House.
The race for the 3rd District is the only Colorado congressional race this year in which an incumbent is not on the ballot.
