LIVE: Gov. Polis gives COVID-19 briefing at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 3

Gov. Jared Polis is scheduled to give a live update at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 3 on Colorado’s COVID-19 response and economic resiliency. The news briefing will be conducted at the Governor’s Mansion in Denver.

University of Colorado President Mark Kennedy, CU Denver student David Holguin, and University of Denver student Dajah Brooks are scheduled to join the governor for the briefing.

Through Sept. 2, Colorado had 58,019 cases of COVID-19 and 1,853 deaths due to the disease, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The three-day moving average of daily new cases in the state is 223.
