LIVE: Gov. Polis gives COVID-19 briefing at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 8

Gov. Jared Polis is scheduled to give a live update at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 8 on Colorado’s COVID-19 response. The news briefing will be conducted at the Governor’s Mansion in Denver.

Brittany Bowlen, of the Denver Broncos, and Sarah Tuneberg, director of Colorado’s Innovation Response Team, are scheduled to join the governor for the briefing.

Through Sept. 7, Colorado had 59,487 cases of COVID-19 and 1,866 deaths due to the disease, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The three-day moving average of daily new cases in the state is 239.
